Its slim and low-profile design makes it well-suited for cabinet lighting, and other decorative and task lighting applications. Made of premium aluminum alloy, Aluminum Profile "B3" dissipates heat generated by your LED strips to maximize their lifetime. A universal extrusion for LED tape! Aluminum Profile "B3" can accommodate any waterproof or non-waterproof LED strip up to 12mm (0.48") wide. Applications

The slim and low profile of this channel makes it a perfect solution for under-cabinet, over-cabinet, and in-cabinet linear LED lighting, as well as application in many other settings. Although intended mainly for indoor use, the channels can be waterproofed making them suitable for outdoor applications giving you even more options for your lighting ideas. This is the perfect channel for accenting small areas and tight spaces.

Installation

Install in minutes with easy snap-and-go clips. This Aluminum housing comes with (3) mounting clips. Simply screw the mounting clips onto your desired surface, and quickly snap your LED aluminum housing into place.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
