A perfect solution for cabinet lighting, Aluminum Profile "E" is a slim and compact aluminum profile for low to medium output LED strips. A versatile solution, Aluminum Profile "E" can be surface mounted under cabinets and inside coves. Extruded and anodized from premium aluminum alloy, Aluminum Profile "E" can universally accommodate any waterproof, or non-waterproof LED strip up to 0.48 Inch (12mm) wide. Aluminum Profile "E" is conveniently sold in 8ft lengths as a completed kit including a pair of end-caps, mounting clips, and your choice of one premium polycarbonate, UV-resistant clear or frosted lens. Applications
Compact design allows you to easily conceal lighting in coves and under-cabinet lighting applications. Use in bathrooms, closets, and kitchens for task lighting applications. Aluminum Profile "E" can protect your IP-65 or IP-68 LED strips from harsh direct contact to the elements.
Installation
Install in minutes with easy snap-and-go clips. Aluminum housing "E" comes with (3) mounting clips. Simply install clips onto your desired surface with screws and quickly snap your LED aluminum housing into place.
Cutting
To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
