Aluminum channel "S4" can accommodate any LED strip up to 0.51 Inch (12.9mm) wide, and properly disperse heat from the strip. Aluminum extrusion "S4" features a gentle rolling edge for decorative purposes, allowing one to get creative and use the channel in many different applications for modern abstract LED lighting. Applications
Aluminum profile "S4" is a slim and compact aluminum extrusion that allows one to achieve evenly diffused and modern, LED lighting while adding a decorative finish to your desired applications, making it perfect for application in areas such as restaurants, kitchens, nightclubs, and any other applications one can think of! Although intended mainly for indoor use, aluminum channels protect LED strips from the elements, making them suitable for outdoor applications giving one even more options for lighting solutions.
Installation
Install in minutes with all purpose caulking adhesive. Simply clean your desired mounting surface, and place caulking around the edges of the channel.
Cutting
To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
