Aluminum Profile "S6" is a heavy-duty stair lighting solution. It features a large non-slip surface as well as an integrated channel for low-voltage LED strip lighting. Aluminum Profile "S6" can create a safer environment by adequately lighting stairs in retirement homes, hospitals, schools, and more. Aluminum Profile "S6" is double-anodized making it a robust option for exterior applications and stairs. It features a non-slip surface for added safety. Aluminum Profile "S6" can accommodate any LED strip up to 0.48 Inch (12mm) wide and orients light downward. It is conveniently sold in 6.5ft (78") lengths as a completed kit including one pair of end-caps and one UV-resistant frosted lens (diffuser).

Applications
Aluminum profile "S6" can be used to illuminate outdoor staircases in public parks, retirement homes, and schools. It features a non-slip surface making it a safe addition to any space. The lens and extrusion protect LED's from direct exposure to the elements. For best results, use with waterproof LED strips in outdoor environments.
Installation
Install in minutes with all purpose caulking adhesive. Simply clean your desired mounting surface, and place caulking around the edges of the channel.
Cutting
To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
