Aluminum channel "S7" can accommodate any LED strip up to 0.48 Inch (12.2mm) wide, and properly disperse heat from the strip. The compact and slim design of it allows for the discrete and seamless accentuation of signs or wall washing, achieving evenly diffused DOTLESS lighting. Aluminum profile "S7" uses brackets to be mounted onto desired surfaces. Aluminum extrusion “S7” is conveniently sold in 6.5ft lengths as a completed kit including a pair of end-caps, mounting brackets, and one premium polycarbonate, UV-resistant white lens. Applications
Aluminum profile "S7" is a slim and compact aluminum extrusion designed specifically for the illumination of signs, as well as for "wall washing". The included mounting clips not only make installation easy, they also ensure your channel is pointed at a fixed angle achieving evenly diffused and modern LED lighting, making it perfect for lighting applications in places such as restaurants, nightclubs, gardens, and any other applications one can think of! Although intended mainly for indoor use, aluminum channels protect LED strips from the elements, making them suitable for outdoor applications giving one even more options lighting solutions.
Installation
Install in minutes with easy mounting brackets. Simply screw the brackets into your desired surface, and attach your aluminum housing.
Cutting
To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
