Aluminum Profile "K2" is a sleek and attractive corner mounted extrusion for low to medium output LED strips. It features a quarter-circle lens and emits light at a broad 90 degree beam. It is a popular LED lighting solution for kitchen cabinets, closets, display-cases, and retail lighting applications. Aluminum Profile "K2" maximizes the lifetime and color quality of your LED strips by dissipating heat and protecting the LED diodes from the elements. When used with our high-density DOTLESS LED strips, Aluminum Profile "K2" creates dot-free evenly diffused LED lighting. Aluminum Profile "K2" can accommodate any LED tape up to 0.41 Inch (10.4mm) wide. Applications

Aluminum Profile "K2" is our most popular corner-mounted shelving solution. The quarter-round lens creates attractive lines of DOTLESS lighting under cabinets or in any retail lighting environment. It can be used in coves to create a wider spread of indirect lighting or used in outdoor environments where it provides waterproofing and protects LEDs from damaging elements and direct exposure.

Installation

Install in minutes with easy snap-and-go clips. Aluminum housing "K2" comes with (3) mounting clips. Simply install clips onto your desired surface with screws and quickly snap your LED aluminum housing into place.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
